"Show system files and folders" does not show them

Using version 12.50In configuration, I have "Show system files and folders" selected, but system files are not displayed in the list. "Show hidden" is also selected.

E.g., in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\, the list does not list all the ".sys" files.
It does list one of the sys files, wimmount.sys.

What did I miss?
