Missing some context menu items
I don't seem to find a way to bring back my right-click context menu items such as "New", "New items" and "Select items".
I am looking at configuration Menus, Mouse, Safety | Context menus | File List but not sure if I disabled anything there.
Ofcourse, I do see these menu items in the fresh install.
Anybody?

Just to make sure: It's the white space context menu.

Re: Missing some context menu items
Fascinating. I cannot see how this could be possible.

I cannot stand the suspense - so what do you see in the white space context menu?!?
EDIT: What about tweak: CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite?

Re: Missing some context menu items
This stupid mistake of my part brings me to an idea or proposal for a script of some sort to create a GUI for tweaks or config in general.
Something similar to about:config from Firefox or Opera where user can change values or set it to default and restart program to make changes.
I can think of using html form method to achieve this or excel macro scripts (but not everyone has office).
I think it can be a very useful tool to manage tweaks.
Just an idea.
Edit: I'll have some time off in August, if nobody plans to do it, I will.

Re: Missing some context menu items
Long ago someone did attempt to tackle (or at least start to) this. I remember someone posting a script - I want to say it was jacky but I'm not positive.serendipity wrote:Edit: I'll have some time off in August, if nobody plans to do it, I will.
I've been wanting for a while now to document all of the INI keys, but that continues to be a growing challenge.

Yes, it was Jacky, but now that he is gone some of us should pick it up. I won't have time until August to seriously work on the script itself, so feel free to start one if you like. Also if you start a new thread I can help you compile a list of Tweaks/INIs.TheQwerty wrote:Long ago someone did attempt to tackle (or at least start to) this. Here's a thread for script development: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9838
I'm just leaving work now so I'll try to remember to create one for documenting all the tweaks later.
