Enlarging breadcrumb font

Post by Stef123 »

How do I enlarge the font for the breadcrumb dropdown? It's a strain on the eyes on my HD (and higher) screen resolutions.

I use breadcrumb navigation all the time - it is my main method to move around the tree. But maybe there is a better, more efficient way to explore a foreign system? Any recommendations from long-time XY-users?

It seems to be me I always need more clicks than on other explorers that have the single line/click breadcrumb. Maybe I just have to get used to drop-down, it might be a matter of practice to scan quickly through the list instead of checking a single line only - but it's hard to do with tiny letters.

The other way is using the tree itself - but here again I need an extra click to get the catalog out of the way (a great feature, if only it wouldn't share the same place as the tree)

Hi and welcome,

good news: a clickable/droppable breadcrumb (with customizable font size) will be the next big feature.

G-R-E-A-T. Very much needed imho - not to replace the bread-tree but to offer an alternative to users who have become used to it from other Windows applications.

Any rough time estimate for that?

No need for mouse. Ctrl Backspace to open it, then use arrow keys and Enter to select menu item.

Our postings overlapped. I realized it myself after I typed the message.
Thanks for pointing out the obvious - I sometimes need that  when I get lost in mental snags.
