possible explorer.exe replacement?
There are a few notepad replacements available today. I use metapad. It is a complete notepad replacement. When I say that I mean that I have renamed metapad.exe to notepad.exe, overwritten the MS notepad.exe, and you would never notice the difference minus that added features that metapad offers over notepad. Tracker, IMHO, has the potential to mature into an explorer.exe replacement. Tracker offers, and mimics, nearly all the features that explorer offers as a file manager. Of course Tracker sports numerous other features that outshine exploere as a file manager also. I haven't experimented with Tracker as a shell replacement, but doubt it would resemble explorer in that respect in any way. But that's not to say that it could not given the developmental attention it would need. There are nearly a dozen explorer/shell replacements that can be found on the internet for download today. I would love to see Tracker developed to the point where I could rename trackerv3.exe to explorer.exe and repalce the MS explorer.exe. I think we may have to start paying for it once it's reached that point

Re: possible explorer.exe replacement?
Well, it's not my intention to morph Tracker into a shell replacement but, hey, if you start paying me now I might change my mind...
