I'd love it if I could click just ONCE to reveal the Favorites menu.
Or is there maybe a keyboard shortcut for that?
(I see I can toggle the *status* of an folder to/from Favorite, but don't see one for SHOWING favorites.
Is there a way to display Favorites with a single click?

Hi MrAnalogy,
what you're asking for is - at least to my understanding - inbuild. Just take a look at those stars Cheers,

Several ways:
1) Favorite folders toolbar button
2) Map command ID: #550; to keyboard shortcut
3) Or add #550; to Catalog
Note: You can find command IDs to almost anything in XY from Help|List All Commands
If you are looking for fav files then its #564.

I don't see those in my menu in the toolbar at the top, how do I enable those?

Accidentally discovered this:
If you right-click on an empty area, inthe Tree on the left, you get a list of Favorite folders. Nice!

You can easily customize the toolbar with the buttons you need.MrAnalogy wrote:I don't see those in my menu in the toolbar at the top, how do I enable those?
Right-click somewhere (better in an empty space) on the toolbar > Customize Toolbar. Now you can see a 2 panes window: on the left are all the buttons you can choose from. On the right are the buttons currently in your toolbar. Just search what you want - in this case the 2 stars for Favorite Files and Favorite Folders, and add them in the right pane. When you're finished, click OK.
There are lots of nice features not present by default in the toolbar. It's possible you'll find other useful buttons this way...
