Hi,
I have a trial of XYplorer installed, but am having a huge issue with the right-click menu that should (almost) immediately pop up when clicked. It takes almost a full minute, maybe longer, for my menu to pop up, but only in XYplorer; not Win7’s Explorer or any other programs.
I’ve searched through the forums for help, but don’t see this issue.
Can you provide any help? I’ve tried disabling all non-Microsoft extensions using a program called ShellExView, but it doesn’t help.
Thanks,
Bob

Hmm... have you check to make sure that your Anti-Virus software have excluded the XYplorer executable? Also where did you install XYplorer?

Re: Right-click menu delay help...
I disabled my anti-virus, which didn't make any difference. I have the program installed on my 'D' partition, which is on my first local HDD.
Thanks,
Bob

Try to tick Configuration | Menus, Mouse, Safety | Context Menus | Hide shell extensions from shell context menu. Does it make a difference?

EXCELLENT!!
That worked great! Now, what did that actually do and will I be missing any functionality?
Thanks a ton for the help.

That proved that it is one of the shell extensions.
Maybe you have overlooked one.I’ve tried disabling all non-Microsoft extensions using a program called ShellExView, but it doesn’t help.

Re: Right-click menu delay help...
I don't think so. I sorted them by author and disabled all non-MS extensions. As a matter of fact, I even tried selecting all and then disable, which it won't allow because it won't allow MS extensions to be disabled for safety.
Also, wouldn't I see issues in file explorer, or other programs?

Strange, cannot explain it (both).
Well, you won't have the 3rd party shell extensions anymore in the menu.rcmolski wrote:That worked great! Now, what did that actually do and will I be missing any functionality?
