"Mouse Down Blow Up" related oddity?

Really? hmm.. well, as I mentionned before it sure did over here. Note that that was only on Thumbs view, on the properties tab the FS mode (through ctxt menu) worked fine. But a right click on thumbs used to show the picture on original size, even if larger, and not on full screen, ie. inside XY window, under the menubar, toolbar/address bar, etc

And I just tried again with ver 5.00.0055 (of which I still had the EXE ready to go) and it does the same: right-click on a picture show it original size, not shrinked down, and not on full screen but inside XY window (like MDBU)

EDIT: Actually, I found how to get to fullscreen mode to work from Thumbs view, after right-clicking on the thumb (which pops up the menu), just left click on a file name. It has to be a filename, not a blank area nor a thumbs, but can be any file (ie not necessary the one you right-clicked on), then the FS mode is triggered, somehow.
But to me it's still as described: picture is shown same way as MDBU, that is with taskbar and XY title bar & menu bar visible (and not on FS with black backgd) and not shrunk down to fit the screen...
Note: you cannot be on Preview tab to get this to work.

Well, things works "better" yeah, and the selection thing is really cool

But regarding right-click, it still does what it did, that you seem to call "MouseDownBlowUpStayUp" now... but I really wish it would trigger the Full-Screen mode instead, as it does on Preview tab (well, "used to" since now its in the menu but still).

I don't really see the point of having a large picture shown like that, you don't see it all, you can't resize it, or move, kinda pointless to me. While the FS mode is really cool, since the full screen turns black, and only the picture is shown, shrunked down to fit screen if needed.

Please don't change to this! (Sorry...)
For touchpad users like me, even though I avoid right-clicks, this is one that I do use!
Mouse gestures are a bit more difficult without a true mouse.
Update:I do, however, like the way left-click delay works! It now works the way that I'd expect if new to product.

Whereas the FS mode is quite usefull to fully see pictures, even larger. Plus once were on FS mode we can move around pics using PageUp/Down, etc so it's a really cool thing

Well, I honestly don't like/see the point of the -StayUp part, but I feel gesture isn't a good way to go, as often with large picture one might be moving around, not to say "stay up now" but simply to see part of the picture!
If you wanna do something like this, I'd suggest more like, as a global MDBU behavior, on MouseUp if holding Ctrl then we StayUp where we are (so, one can then choose which part of the pic will stay up, which kinda makes a bit more sense to me also )

Now this maybe/might be a reasonable compromise... But how would one 'release' the pix as one does now on second right-click? If I'm wanting to look at a pix for, lets say 15 secs, I don't want to have to hold anything down...

Also, part of the reason I suspect I wasn't having the same issue as jacky is due to my use of "shrink larger orig to fit on MDBU"...

Oh, yeah what I meant was: is your're holding Ctrl on MouseUp, then the picture stays up, but you can release Ctrl of course. It'll stay up just like it works now, as in untill you click again to make it go away

Oh, I can see a lot of point in looking at a detail of a picture for a longer time. Also, in MDBUSU you can move the picture around by moving the mouse before you release the right button. So you can carefully choose the detail you want to look at (or show somebody at the table next to you).

Yes, of course. The gesture idea was obviously rubbish in this case.
Holding CTRL was on my mind too, by I see a possible interference with the toggle-select function of holding CTRL while clicking a list item. Plus you need two hands for it... maybe there's a better solution. Let's wait a bit.

Concerning FS mode: there will be the possibility to assign a KS for this in future.

Would only work if you had two mice!
(Releasing the button to click again will make the blow-up disappear)

OK, so I thought we were still on the RMB click thingy (like I said, it's early). What I was really trying to say was "click the other mouse button while the original button is still held down". This would then lock the picture on the screen, until you click/press any button apart from the arrows perhaps, which would allow you to pretty much show the pictures around the currently viewed picture?
