1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

Export Configuration file doesn't seem to work

Post by stitches »

When i go to file>configuration file>save configuration file as (or save copy of configuration file as...it's not spitting one out.

I'm using beta 5.20.

Thank you.

Works O.K. for me with Windows XP.

Are you giving it an extension other than "ini"? It doesn't seem to save a file if you give it a different extension from "ini". "TEST", "TEST.ini", "TEST.abc.ini" are valid but "TEST.abc" is not.

Donald:
Since an extension of "ini" is added to "TEST" should it also add an extension of "ini" to "TEST.abc"?

It saves if you save it to it's default location (xyplorer program folder)but say you want to save it to the desktop or some other directory it doesn't,not for me anyways.

Yes you are right, XY doesnt save the config to any other folder other than aplication folder. But maybe you know the file menu option 'create shortcut to this configuration' to get it to the desktop.
