Sequential searching/filtering
Looking for a program that can perform a search on a bunch of files, and then perform a new search on the results of the first search... and so on, and so on. Been looking through the feature list of XYplorer but can't seem to determine if this can be done or not - can anyone help? Much appreciation in advance

Re: Sequential searching/filtering
You could do this way:
1. perform first search
2. tag the files you see with a unique tag
3. perform the second search adding the unique tag applied before among the search criteria
4. iterate from step 2 on
1. perform first search
2. tag the files you see with a unique tag
3. perform the second search adding the unique tag applied before among the search criteria
4. iterate from step 2 on

Re: Sequential searching/filtering
Sequential searching is not possible because in XY searches are always stored and remembered tabwise and across sessions. The settings in the Find Files panel are in direct relation to the search results. This would not be possible with sequential searching where the settings of the first stage(s) are irrecoverably lost.
