it's possible move one file from folder to folder and overwrite old version of this file but whitout confirmation?
with script: moveto "D:\app\", "D:\000\abc.txt"
work correctly, but XY required confirmation to overwrite.
whit the 2 = Overwrite it's possible only for backupto.
and i don't want disable this from option-file operation-on collision-ask
another suggestion??
moveto no confirmation

Re: moveto no confirmation
I dont remember why Don did not provide overwrite option for moveto in scripting, but I did not understand your concern with what highend suggested.swan_x wrote:yes i know! but it's no possible overwrite this but no confirmation on collision?

He suggests this:
Code: Select all
//Moveto (force overwrite) without prompt
backupto "D:\app\", "D:\000\abc.txt", 2;
delete 1,0,"D:\000\abc.txt";// Delete to recycle bin without prompt

Re: moveto no confirmation
Doesn't moveto on same drive only rename, but no physical copy?
But another possible solution: first (maybe test and then) delete destination file, then moveto?
