Sometimes opens in Sys Tray, other times not

Post by PeterL »

I have XY pinned to the Taskbar, when I single click it occasionally opens in the Sys Tray, so I wait for that, not wanting two iterations running and when it doesn't I have to go back to the Task Bar to see if has opened. Win7 Home Premium 32bit.

How do you have the "Tools > Configuration > Startup & Exit > Startup Window State" option configured?

Thank you for your reply. I have attached my Start Up configuration, is the answer there?

No answers yet? This is sorta like my problem. It won't launch at all now. It has been slowing down down down for weeks.

Start a copy of XYplorer.exe in a temp folder. Faster? If yes, there is something in your configuration that's causes the slowdown.

If you change "Startup Window State" to "Normal" (or anything but "last state") you shouldn't have to worry about it starting up minimized to the tray.

Personally, when I finally moved to Windows 7 and pinned XY to my task bar I disabled all of the minimize to tray options since it will always be visible in the task bar. But your mileage may vary.

P.S. Sorry for my less than timely response.
