Is this possible? a fast list...

Hi,

Would it be possible, to have a fast list view? So when you have a large directory, with 10000 of files or more, xyplorer counts the files and the filesizes to display the information...

It would be good to have a fast list option in details view, where only the filenames are displayed (with maybe modified date).

If one only wants to see filenames, then go to View\Views menu and select "List"...but the amount of time required to retrieve data from directory should be not that different, if any...

And why would one have that many files within one folder anyway? Seems to be a slighty defective organizational scheme, IMHO.

For cd's and dvd's i see it alot that there are many files in one folder, more of the times with dvd's that's full of clipart, often more then 10000 small cliparts in one folder....

Ah yes! The ole clipart massive folder issue! I have only hit that issue once so didn't think of that as normal, but I can see it now..
