menus disappeared

The menus (File, Edit, View, Tools, Windows, Help, etc.) have disappeared from view, and I cannot get them back. I accidentally hit some key combination and <poof!> they were gone.

This has happened twice before, but both times I figured out how to get them back (tinkering with an .ini file if I remember correctly). However, this time I have searched and searched here and in the .ini file with no luck. Can someone point me in the correct direction?
