custom icon for a tab does not work

Post by abc550 »

I've tried to assign a custom icon to a locked tab. But the following line I've entered under the "Rename Tab..." menu does not change the tab's icon:
folders only (D:)|C:\Win_icons\111\days.ico

I've tried to add or remove spaces before and after the "pipe", to put the icon name in or without quotes .. No effect. At the first glance the thing is so simple, that it is not possible to do anything wrong. But seems, that I managed to do!

Thanks in advance!

Unable to reproduce with 11.30.0006

Renamed to:
folders only (D:)|D:\test.ico
Works flawlessly and displays that icon.

I've used a 32x32 Pixel, 32bit color depth .ico.

Thank you again, highend.
However you test icon has not resolved my problem too. I have no any idea, what may be the reason. Can the result depend of the tab's properties or some general settings?
And one thing more: my OS is Windows XP SP-2, may be it depends of it.
