Toolbar icon for VF: context menu

Post by jacky »

Just a little thing I know I'd like to have: if the ctxt menu for the TB button for Visual Filters could have a couple more items, making it look like this:
- Set VF
- Toggle No/Last VF (maybe in bold, as its what it does on left click/the default action)
- -----
- Customize Toolbar

The idea being one could quickly access the Set VF option through this icon. Yes, I know it's on the ctxt menu of a tab, but (a) it's all the way down the menu, would be quicker there :) and (b) when I think VF I think of that icon, obviously, but if I can't do what i want there (Set VF) I'll think Ctrl+J, but not to go to the tab header. And (c) I just think it makes sense, as its "part of" the VF feature....

You know, think about this you could even add smthg like this for the Panel-related buttons (Show/Hide and Max/Min), having on their ctxt menus the full list (with their action in bold) :
- Show/Hide
- Max/Min
- Last/Min
- -----
- Customize Toolbar

:D This is a VERY handy improvement! As I would also think naturally of going to the VF icon and not the tab header...I think I'll maybe use VF more now! Thanks! 8)
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Yep, nice addition, was looking for the VF menu several times myself and whenever I finally got to it again I thought it was hidden way too far down in the menu.
