Using V10.90.0200
I would like to run two sessions of XYP side by side in Window 7 Pro x64. I would like to click on each custom config file shortcut and have the each of the two XYP windows open in the same desktop position each time - one on the left half of the screen and one on the right half of the screen.
I tried opening two sessions and positioning them like I described above, then saving each respective session to its own "config file to a shortcut". But each session opens up in the same position (over top of each other),
Is this possible, and if so, what am I doing wrong?
Thank you!

And both shortcuts lead to which config file? Post their respective file locations.

I used the File - Settings - "Create shortcut to this configuration"
for each respective session, giving them unique names.

Right click on the first shortcut, copy the FULL line from the screenshot (highlighted blue) and paste it in a new post. Do the same with the second shortcut.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\XYplorer.exe" /ini="DEFAULT TA D3 XYplorer"

Ok and now open
"DEFAULT TA D3 XYplorer.ini" & "test left.ini"
and look up these 4 values from the [General] section:
WinW=1550
WinH=1000
WinX=120
WinY=10
Do they differ from file to file?

And that's your problem...No - They are the same.
Just open the first shortcut, move XYplorer to the desired position, save configuration, exit XY. Do the same with the second one. Hopefully they were able to store their new window position successfully. If not, I'd file a bug report and change the values manually (ofc when the belonging XYplorer instance is not open).
Btw, the folder where your two .ini files are in, please post the full path.

Re: (2) XYP Sessions Side by Side
Path to config files:
C:\Users\talbright\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer\
I tried your method several times without success.
I found a Win 7 taskbar feature that helps - With both XYP sessions minimized, right-click the taskbar and select, "Show windows side by side."
Interestingly, after I did this, and saved each config file (again!), the (2) desktop INI shortcuts to XYP open side by side, like I want.
Thank you for you quick help! I appreciate it!
