Hello,
I am a GAOTD recipient and i must say that i am impressed. It is worth every penny. Congratulations!
My question:
I am using the catalog to launch an application to compare files and folders: (Winmerge)
I use the following command:
WinMergePortable.exe <selitems>
It works fine when the files or folders are in the same tab.
However, there is a common use case where you want to compare files/folders on two different physical drives. And i understand they have to live in their own pane. Hence my question: how do you multiply select across panes?
Best regards
Alain

There are some other threads you can find via a "winmerge" search here as well.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Glad to hear that! But just know that a nbr of folks have regretted buying the lifetime vers when they realize they won't be able to have more than approx a year of updates...if cost of the lifetime vers is really a major issue, at least once a year typically Don has had some special offer so you may want to watch for that.Alain wrote:Well, this is a value judgment. And so far, the only known limitation caused by the VB code is the 64-bit situation....most all of us don't care what language is used.By the way, in which language is it written: C++ or VB ?
