And since I use a touchpad, middle click is an option that is unavailable to me....and yes, there are ways to force it to open in new but having new tab be default instead seems practical for some cases.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

sorry, but seems habit is too strong.. the previous behaviour was much more useful for me -maybe you can allow it back at least as a tweak?
by the way, the mentioned habit was brought to me by XY itself. whatever tab-having-soft i used before XY i always was trying "to escape tab duplicates". then i found XY's tab behaviour, which was totally new to me: first i was like "oh.. it's interesting!", and after few weeks "damn, i like this!!". some time later, when i found all rename/iconize/set icon functions, "like it" shifted to "love it". :D now i was only sad about no other tab-having-soft "thinking up" to this.

I see, the typical junkie career.

I'll add a tweak.

Version 10.80.0300 appears to be doing what I want it to. If other users don't find a problem with it, I hope it can stay that way. Thanks.
