Drop spot (temp place to keep folders/files)

Post by ugus »

One nice thing to have would be a kind of drop spot
where you could temporarily drag/move/copy files/folders.

This could have several features/uses:

Drag files folders to it when exploring different tabs, and later
on move them in one go (or just after each other) to their destinations.

It could also be nice to be able to create temporary folders
on the drop spot and fill the folders them with contents and then drag/copy/move the new created folders to appropriate destinations when needed.

The drop spot should be cleared after the XYplorer session is closed.

It could be placed where the catalogue is placed and have a similar look.

Inspired by the ultra-fast response I give it a shot....

Yes, this is a nice idea that's already been mentionned : http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?t=831

Allows me to kinda bump that thread, which also has the "Extended Clipboard" idea in it ;)

Edit: oops... surrender got faster to post than me ;)
