Nice PDF Preview missing

Noticed this morning that the nice little PDF Preview was no longer showing up in the Info Panel. Has that new toggle button in 10.80 changed the behavior?

Edit: It must have! It still working in backup of 10.70.

Aah, I see that I could not preview PDF. But I think its a coincidence in my case, I think I unchecked PDF in Config>Previewed formats>Web&Office files. After checking it, I can preview PDF again. Did you by mistake do this too?

Tested on PDF-Xchange viewer on XY v10.80.0003

Thank you Serendipity for looking into this as for me it is a loss of a significant feature. As you point out the timing may be coincidence.

Using PDF-Xchange viewer also. The way it worked in 10.70 (and still does) with PDF unchecked in Previewed Formats a small representation of the first document page appeared in Info Panel. If it was checked Info Panel brought up the Xchange Viewer itself in the panel with all its functions showing.

In 10.80 the check mark still brings up the viewer but nothing is able to conjure up that handy preview.

It seems a bug was introduced somewhere along the line. Until addressed it will be necessary to revert to 10.70 get get the preview back as much of my workflow hinges on use of PDF's.

Seems working here
XY 10.80.0010 + Foxit Reader
but under some circumstances it doesn't display, I have to click on an other file then back, but difficult to say which circumstances.
I have reproduced the same issue under 10.70, also in semi-random circumstances.
