unlimited time for show info tips

How to set the time info tips appear to "unlimited"? Is there such config? Cause I want to quickly review my .pdf files (instead of opening them in Acrobat) by hovering over each of them and see and read the Comment field. Since reading longer texts takes time especially if the comment is long I wish the time the info tip window stays on be unlimited or at least allow configuration. It would help a lot and I think this could be done for the Comment column also. The time is just not enough. Thank you.

I also like this idea, and I think it could be further enhanced by having the info tips respect the 'Full Row Select' setting. I would like to have the info tips appear for an unlimited time when hovering over an actual filename, but disappear when I move the cursor over whitespace in the list.

You mean they should pop anywhere above the row? Not what I like.

Wouldn't be "seconds" as factor be minor enough ?
Less then an second is anyway to short to take an view, and who needs to set to 3,5 secs?

I think the other time values are in milliseconds so this is just being consistent with that...and yes, i could see where someone wants 1/2 sec flexability.

Exactly this was the reason for it. It's less confusing when you see both numbers vertically stacked as they are now.

No, I mean that if I have 'Full Row Select' turned off then info tips should only appear when I'm hovering directly on a filename or folder name. Not when the mouse cursor is hovering over empty space anywhere else (e.g. to the side of the filename).

Let me know if this makes sense.

Explorer does not do it like this, and would be too much work ATM. Last not least I'm not even sure if it is good.

I noticed that in v10.60, the new "visible time in milliseconds" feature for the info tips does not work. I set it to 999999 but nothing changes. Am I missing something? I guess not. It's just doesn't work. Where is the problem?

Confirmed, doesn't work beyond 32000 (32 seconds) for me.
