Recent location's size

Post by kiefer »

If i narrow down it's window for compactness, such that scroll bar is still visible,it doesn't remember it's size.

Hi and welcome,

I'm guessing that you mean Go > Recent Locations?

It works for me during the same XYplorer session with 10.40.0101. Do you mean it doesn't remember the window size after restart? If so, it may be because you don't save settings between restarts, either automatically or manually.

Works fine for me. Install the beta and save your settings as nas8e9 suggests. Don implemented the recall of the Recent Locations and History window sizes back in the 10.40.0008 beta.

Ok, I see now. It seems to always keep a minimum height, enough to show 4 lines, on my system. (I use the Classic theme, with big scrollbar buttons on Win 7.)

I wonder though, why you like to use it this way instead of using the menu form. Now that one can customize the number of items shown, I only rarely go to the window version and when I do, I always want that to be full height.
