Custom Move Name Collision Dialog: Always has to be resized

Post by Jerry »

This is not a terribly burning issue, but a nuisance nonetheless. Whenever I do a custom move that results in a name collision, I always have to resize the dialog in order to see the dropdown list and buttons. Below is a snapshot of one example.

I am running Classic mode on Win 7 Pro at 1920x1200 resolution at the default text size setting (Medium 125%)

! Custom Copy: The overwrite prompt's layout broke on certain user-
defined ppi (pixel per inch) display settings. Fixed.
I just tried this with the new beta (which now seems to be version 10.40.0100) but problem is still there. If this is a tricky problem to fix, it would be helpful to at least have XYplorer remember the height of this dialog.

Really?? I could easily reproduce and fix it. These sort of issues are not new, and the fix is easy. :? No more issue here.

Yes, really! I do see that the width of the dialog is being remembered, but not the height, which continues to be truncated as in my earlier attachment. Oy, looks then like another peculiarity with XYplorer on my particular system. Probably related to another problem I have -- the delete confirmation dialog often popping up behind being the main XYplorer window. And perhaps also (though unlikely) related to the longstanding nuisance of deleted folders remaining in the Mini-Tree. I guess it's connected to my video driver or perhaps to my dual monitor configuration with primary monitor at 1920x1200 and secondary at 1920x1080, who knows.

Ah, now I know what happened! You are using background processing and I forgot to recompile XYcopy.exe!
