Location Combobox stopped Self-Populating

Post by n2tpa »

All,

When I first previewed the program, the Location Combobox on the "Find Files" tab would fill itself in based on what I had selected on the tree...just as the help file says should happen: Search Parameters (Filters) - Location - "The Location combobox edit field is automatically set to the current location in Tree". Now, it does not. I am not sure when it stopped functioning chronologically, but I run V10.30 on an older machine and it's functioning normally on that.

I hope this function is controlled by a setting somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

The version of XYPlorer is 10.40, non-beta. I run two separate machines, but the current one has Win XP, SP3 w/4Gb RAM on a Pentium D CPU runing at 3.4Gb.

Thank You!!

Since it obviously isn't a bug (other than in the user!), can this thread be moved into "Hints, Tips, etc?".

I must be having a bad day. I thought I posted this in Bug Reports. Luckily, it was in the appropriate place after all.
