Sorry for all the questions. I'm re-evaluating XYPlorer again. And trying to figure out if it can do things that I use frequently. Or if such a feature goes by a different name --- or has an alternate way (possibly with it's built in scripting).
SubDir Branch View -> flattens the current folder, shows all files contained in the current dir and all subdirs.
SubDir Branch View w/ Selected Folders only --> show all files contained in the selected folders only.

Ah! "Show All Items in Branch" is a custom search result in a virtual folder/tab.
XYPlorer's search options are extensive.
