I'm not sure if this a bug or a configuration problem.
A friend of mine is trialling XY and is getting the following error message whenever he starts a search. After you click OK the search proceeds as normal. Is this a SP1 thing?

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Looks like for some reason the subfolder "FindTemplates" could not be created. Is your friend maybe testing the app on a CD-ROM?

UNC paths are already supported. It might have to do with rights to create a folder on the share.JohnM wrote:He is trialling it at his work and running it off a network share. Maybe it's something to do with UNC paths which I think XY does not support.
Are there any plans to support UNC paths in future?
