DUB's and XYS's

Post by aurumdigitus »

"When dropping files onto a DUB that points to an executable the files are opened with this executable." From XYplorer Help pdf.

As presently coded is there any way to get this to execute a XYS?

If not it an intriguing concept for the future.

Yes, I have already thought about something similar, especially a new variable <droppeditems> which could be used in the script to do something with the dropped load.

 Sounds like a job for the new "bathroom" script! Sorry, couldn't resist...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

"Dropping a load" is English slang for a 'sit down visit to toilet' in case you didn't know that one...

Ah, thanks. So "bathroom" is English slang for "shit house".

 we don't use such colorful terms here in USA! It's either toilet or bathroom (or restroom for public bldgs, like stores and such).

But this is WAY off-topic from this thread -- though helpful to know if you're visiting USA.
