when i look at folders using large icons or thumbnails view only the first line shows.
this is not a problem with Details view, of course.
i attached an image below.
i searched the forum but the only relevant post was a few years old.
is there any way to at least show 2 lines of the file and folder names?
or maybe some other workaround?

Re: File/Folder names truncated
FYI: You can easily upload the JPG as attachments here in forum, which is much preferred over using outside sites like imageshack...could you edit post to do so? Thanks!moontan wrote:here's a link to a a screenie i took to show:

any reasons why you don't favor services like imageshack?
i thought i could save your bandwidth by posting a link.

Re: File/Folder names truncated
Some of those sites have pop-ups or ads that people find irritating but mainly that it's much easier to follow conversation when image is inline here...as long as image is reasonably sized (1024x768 max is ideal)...thanks again!moontan wrote:any reasons why you don't favor services like imageshack?

But I'm sorry that I don't have any input to your actual issue.

Re: File/Folder names truncated
that's no big deal really.
i can always increase the font size if i decide to go in Details view.
actually, it would be nice if the font size could be part of a Folder View setting.
but i think that in Large Icons view and Thumbnail view there should be at least 2 lines of text showing.
it would be nice if this could be addressed in some future update though.
some of us here don't have the same eyesight we used to.

I agree and have put it on my list. I mean the list that's on top of the other lists.moontan wrote:but i think that in Large Icons view and Thumbnail view there should be at least 2 lines of text showing.
