Winamp vs XYplorer

Post by tiago »

I'm aware this sounds more of a Winamp's problem than XYplorer's but Google isn't helping much and perhaps Don may find a solution on his side of the question.
The problem: when I insert a CD on drive it doesn't show on XYplorer's tree if Winamp is turned on. If I close Winamp then immediately the CD gets shown on XY tree. Anything you can do about Don? Any hint any other user may want to share to solve this?

Funny, didn't know that. WinAMP seems to eat the message, at least temporarily. Can't do anything about it.

Hey tiago,

my following question is a digression in this thread, sorry...

I see you also have Win2000. Could you please be so kind to take a look of a thread "Show Documents folder" not correct under w2k? and make the following test on w2k: In XY, go to Help > Environment variables and look the values of %personal% and %personalreal%.

Could you please cut&paste these two lines from there into the above mentioned thread - I am very intersted to learn if there is something wrong just in my w2k installation, or the w2k API, as used from XY, has some problems. Thank you for your time!
