Option to replace explorer for all files

Id like to have the option to replace explorer for all files like directory opus and powerdesk contain. If I had this option and if xy started a little faster I would remove powerdesk from my system and use xy exclusively. For now though are there some registry modifications that can be made to have xy replace explorer and to speed it up a little? It would also be nice if the system files were in red like in directory opus. Other then those few things xy does everything better then the other 20 plus file managers Ive used. I have to say the file search tool is the quickest and most thorough Ive ever used.
