Tabs and "Go Home"

Post by rwakeford »

I have three locked tabs which I have set "Home" in. The trouble is that, each time I select a folder in any of the tabs, a completely new tab is opened so the "Go Home" is unuseable.

I've searched everywhere (I think) and would very much like whatever folder I select to open in the same tab and not a new one so that all I ever have is my three locked tabs and nothing else. Is this possible?

Well, that's the meaning/function of "locked": new location is opened in new tab.

Yes, simply don't lock them. :)

"Home" and "Lock" are two different ways of binding a tab to a certain location/configuration. They are largely incompatible: you normally would either use one or the other.

That I didn't know. Thank you and I've now unlocked them!

Thanks again. I've not had this programme long but like it very much indeed and am enjoying finding out about it. Your answers were just what I was looking for.
