:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Single click rename in TreeView

Post by Statler »

A single click (or slow double click as it's called in the config window) in the TreeView doesn't start a Rename (as F2 or selecting the option from the right click menu do). :(

It was never implemented (because I don't like it :wink: ). Now, since we have the config option (which is quite new), I could/should add it. Thanks for reminding me!

I guessed so when I read your comment in the Beta thread ;)

I also don't like it. Is there a way to disable it?

Disable "Slow double-click invokes single-rename" in Tools -> Configuration -> Advanced. :)

But I want to disable it just in the TreeView. Like it was before this change.

Code: Select all

v5.00.0025 - 23.06.06 10:13
    * Removed "Slow double-click invokes single-rename" from
      Configuration. This behavior now can and has to be set individually
      for Tree and List. Use menu View/Tree[List] Style/Rename On Slow
      Double-Click.
Thanks!
