cool thanks. i found the help file and understand the syntax but am not clear what to do with it. (yes, i'm very much a newbie) i think what i probably need to know is where is the command line, i.e. where do i put the switch so it executed on start up. hopefully i'm using the right terminology.Yes. You can execute a script on startup. Best is to save the script in a file, then execute this file using the /script= command line switch. See Help under "command line switches".
