stop new tabs
How do I stop a new tab from opening every time I click on a folder? I have locked in 4 tabs, but whenever I click on a folder in the folder pane, it opens up a new tab.

Re: stop new tabs
Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
Maybe I'm misreading/misunderstanding your situation but generally when you lock a tab, it stays on that folder so if you click on another folder that isn't available on a tab, it has to open a new one.
From Help: "A locked tab will never leave its current location but instead open a new tab automatically (unless you hold Ctrl+Alt in which case a new locked location is defined). "

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Thanks for the quote. It made me notice that the "hold Ctrl+Alt" part in the help file is outdated!j_c_hallgren wrote:Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
