Path first in window title

Post by jdhedden »

Put the folder's path first in the window title (or at least make it an option). That way, it's easier to identify the iconified windows in the taskbar.

Yes, that's right.

However, the main reason for having "TrackerV3" always visible (plus "[Free Home License for Non-Profit Use Only]" if you have no prof license) is marketing/branding, of course.

A solution could be a better, more distinguished, more beautiful icon!

I offer a free prof license to the first person that offers me an original icon (16x16 and 32x32) that I like!

Sure. I'm saying remove that. Just put it last in the title bar so that the taskbar 'icon' will show something like 'C:\Program Files\'. That way you can see what it's showing without have to open the window back up. Further, if you have multiple Tracker windows open, it allow you to find the one you want.

While this is not a bad idea, it doesn't help with my issue of being able to distinguish windows by the taskbar 'icon'.

Sure, I understood what you want. My idea was: having a strong, recognizable icon that works like a logo would allow me to do without "TrackerV3" in the left of the titlebar.

Well, what the heck! I changed it and I think it's a real improvement!
