Toolbar Spacer

Post by pissant »

Finally, I have an issue/suggestion that won't cause Mr. Lessau to go reaching for a headache remedy. I think.

If feasible, please consider adding the ability to ... add ... some type of spacer to the toolbar. This could simply be a blank "icon" for all it matters.

At 1920 x 1200 resolution, those tiny toolbar buttons give me about a 4-pixel margin of error when clicking. I love the "Nuke" toolbar button, but would like it to have some breathing room, is all. :)

Thanks for reading, whatever the outcome.

Nah, not quite 4 pixels, but it's pretty small. :)

So what you really want is a "Large Icons" option.
test everything. hold on to the good.

Yeah, large icons would be really cool, but I think I asked for that long ago and it was shot down. So, I've aimed lower.

Edit: I'm not sure I was shot down after all... Hey, any chance? :)

I'm not seeing myself designing a 32 pixel variant for each icon. I *could* however apply a stretch operation: then the size would be totally flexible, the output quality however will vary...

I first thought you were asking about a toolbar *separator*. I'm planning to do that anyway. Wouldn't that help?

Separators would probably help, sure...

I'll add myself to list of those who would use definitely separators if available!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Code: Select all

v5.00.0005 - 28.05.06 19:34
    + Toolbar: added separators.
Thanks! I have 5 separators on each side of the Nuke button, and it does the trick nicely. :)
