Option to display all Columns available in Win 7 Explorer

I think I saw this request elsewhere and that the response was that it would slow down XY. But it would only slow it down if you chose to display those columns, right?
I.e., simply having the option to display them seems like it wouldn't slow it down.

It's currently listed as shell columns on the roadmap; based on that, it should come in 2011.
