Can something be done about this(selected item)

Is there is some option or something...
For example when I maximize the info panel and switch to preview to check some videos or music,if I accidentally click somewhere else in the info panel besides the seek,the focus to the list is loosed and up/down(for next/previous file)keys are not working any more...I have to click on any file(or the same)to gain focus to the list again and the up/down keys to start working again

Or maybe add previous/next file buttons where play,pause and stop buttons are.
