:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Preview-->When skipping forward or backward->XYplorer

Post by shady2wit »

This one is version independent, as I've upgraded two versions up to recent (v4.50.0018)

You folks are doing terrific job at making it really intuitive and configurable for various File management operations.

This bug occurs while previewing avi or mpg files,
e.g. If I want to skip more than small amount of time in a file, XYplorer locks up completely.

I am aware that it could be native WinXP previewing behaviour (I don't use Windows native previewing functionality,but if XYplorer places calls to these routines..you know better the internals)

SUGGESTED BEHAVIOUR:
-unlimited filesize previewing
-jump to position (mouse pointer right button) without lockup

(My favorite XYplorer File management task is reviewing->renaming-> recorded tv shows from my DVR w. tv/fm card then -> saving it later to DVDs)

I really really would like to miss this "feature" in the forthcoming ones.

Greeetz folks
