slow access to window

Post by jcmn »

Actually I experience a slow access to the COPY TO - Select Destination Folder Window.

I think this is because I have a large list of paths.

What can be done to speed up the access?

Specifically for your case, jcmn, I believe it will worth a try using this script to have quick access to you favorite folders: Menu for Favorites Menu (yes, the name is horrible... lol)
It involves a CKS for the script itself: the menu will pop under your mouse pointer and there you go - use "Copy To Other Pane" (default CTRL+F6, custom SHIFT+C) and voilà. With some adaptions you may even get rid of the initial menu itself....
Also, formatlist's recent enhancements may help you a bit, too.
Hope this helps.

Please check if one of those paths is an unavailable network location (missing icon). Remove it.

Sorry for late answer.

You are right.

There were some paths in the list pointing to external devices not actually connected.
After delete those entries window shows right away.
