Attention with 9.70.0001, CTB users!

Post by SkyFrontier »

Code: Select all

v9.70.0001 - 2010-11-06 16:12
! Scripting: Multiline scripts stored in the INI file (Run Script,
or User Buttons Scripts) did not fold/unfold well in rare cases.
      Fixed.
I'm yet to understand how this had impact on my installation, but I've lost an entire section of a CTB right-click menu and format of other has gone crazy displaying pilcrows instead of paragraphs.
No time to say if this can be reverted by any natural means - so backup settings prior to upgrading and be sure you can revert to 9.70 in case of a failure.
Hope this helps.

If that is the case, I can try a Gmail account - Yahoo has delays, sometimes. Just let me know.

Note!
If you loaded v9.70.0001 AND saved settings, you should manually reset the following INI key to 9.70.0000 (or earlier, but NOT v9.70.0001):

Code: Select all

[General]
LastVer=9.70.0000
Otherwise the upgrading of the CTBs will fail.

Less than a whole hour from bug report to the fix ON A SATURDAY.
May this will inspire people who work with me to offer the greatest support EVER on our field as you do in yours.
Congrats again, Donald!

Code: Select all

v9.70.0002 - 2010-11-06 18:10
! Scripting: Multiline scripts stored in the INI file (Run Script,
or User Buttons Scripts) were not correctly read when upgrading to
      v9.70.0001. Fixed.

I am reminded of all the strange "looks" I got when I mentioned in some prior thread that I never upgraded and always did fresh installs, to avoid upgrade bugs. :P

I know the feeling... (the bright side of silence, otoh - perhaps I'm just a bit more paranoid than everyone else over here) :P
