I'm using this tweak for over 2 years now and did not have a single problem:

    + Tweak: Getting tired of typing "::" into the Address Bar when 
      debugging script lines I added this little tweak:
        [Settings]
        ScriptSmartDetect=1

Did anybody share my positive experience? I wonder whether I should hard-code the tweak or at least raise it to GUI level...

I am using this since v7.60 too. I am too lazy for ::, I am fine either ways.

It's worked fine for me the entire time...

Not sure about hard-coding it, as who knows how many people really tested it, but I could definitely see defaulting to it being on. I see absolutely no reason to devote any GUI space to this though.
