Run script on start-up from command line

Post by Stilez »

It appears there isn't a way to run a script on start-up directly from the command line. While CEA's might help, there are times one might want to specify a specific line of code or a script to run on start-up on a given occasion, not as a permanent action.

Can XYplorer have a "/script" command line option to allow a script to be specified and run on startup?

/script=" :: SCRIPT CODE "
or /script = " PA\TH\FILE.XYS"

Can't find a reference to this anywhere, hence requesting it here. This would allow shortcuts to be set up (or created on the fly) to open XYplorer and "do something specific" (or run a script prior to the usual session).

Thanks :)

Actually this has been discussed before somewhere (no time to search). But ofcourse that would be pretty amazing i think. I can think of many examples, but the most useful would be:
-look for new version of XY and ask to update.
