Installing fonts?
For some reason my Windows Explorer file manager was crashing and wouldn't let me install fonts. So I'm looking to see if I can install fonts within XYplorer. Any ideas if this can be done? Using latest beta build as of Aug 30, 2010 and Windows XP Service Pack 2. Thanks.

Re: Installing fonts?
Not sure if this is relevant, but just today I wanted to add a new .OTF font file to my W2K system...could not find any "Install font" or "Add new" or similar so just copied it directly to my C:\WINNT\Fonts folder and that worked just fine...I was then able to use it in needed applications...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Re: Installing fonts?
An old Windows trick for installing a typeface is simply to right click on the font and use the "Send To" feature. (Of course, a link to the Font folder has to be added to the Send To array first.)
Also be advised that a font can temporarily be activated by using XY's Info Panel Preview Tab and clicking on the bold face font name.
