On very first look, I also was wondering why but I see that what's included in links are a variant to the sort order such that most viewed (and thus maybe most likely to be asked/inquired on) are at the top...he did this thread as a convenience factor, I believe...I could see it possibly helping to locate a prior thread on a given topic that may not lend itself via keywords to being found via Search.
