Custom search saved in catalog

Post by TommyBoy »

I've created a custom search that looks for empty folders and would like to save it as a category in my catalog. I can't seem to figure out how to set it up so if anyone could assist it would be appreciated.

Thanks

One way would be to use the loadsearch scripting command.

Thanks but does anyone have a step by step tutorial on how to accomplish this. I can create a search template, and create a basic category but how do you link the two?

This should go into the Location field of a Catalog Item:

Code: Select all

::loadsearch "name of your search template", r
Look up the Help for "Scripting Commands Reference" and there "loadsearch" ...

Ask if you need more tips.
