Hi,
I looked through the various commands available for keyboard customization but couldn't quite find the way to do this, if it exists. Also I know I can look into writing a script to do it. But currently, is there any command to show the next or previous file's contents in the preview pane while you are directly focused inside the preview pane itself? For example, a common thing I do is go through a list of text files where while focused in the preview pane, I select and copy/paste selected lines (for auto-collection by another program that intercepts the clipboard) and then want to press a key to view the next file and select/copy/paste and so on down the list, all the time remaining focused in the preview pane.

Re: How to move to next/prev file when focus is in preview panel
It's my understanding that focus can be only on one place at a time so it's either in IP, list, tree or catalog...and thus I'm not aware of any way to keep focus within the preview/IP and still manipulate position in list...I could be wrong however...we'll see if others have an opinion.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
