In the properties tab, for shortcuts, could you add the target, maybe after the "location" field? It would be easier than having to right-click and choosing "properties" all the time.
TIA

Re: Add Target of shortcut to Properties tab
You can hover over filename on list and see it via info-tips...have you tried that method?

Yes, and it doesn't work. Sometimes it shows the text of the shortcut, sometimes nothing. Is there a setting somewhere that changes the behavior? (And why do some shortcuts show nothing while others show the tool-tip?)

Check you settings in Config>File Info Tips...that is where a lot of that resides.

Re: Add Target of shortcut to Properties tab
I checked under Tools > Config > File Info Tips, and everything is checked except for "Show MP3 info tips". Under "Add the following extra fields if applicable:" everything is checked also, including shortcut target. As you can see from the JPG, only the name shows up for me, and on some shortcuts nothing shows up. This is a new Win7 setup, so it shouldn't be overly corrupted yet!
Thanks your efforts.

I GOT IT FIGURED OUT!
You have to hover over the icon to show the tool-tips.
Hovering over the name only shows the name in a tool-tip if the if the column isn't wide enough for the full name (I knew that, just a bit dense today!)
Thanks.

But that's only because you presumably have checked "Show info tips only when hovering file icon"...cpusrvc wrote:I GOT IT FIGURED OUT!You have to hover over the icon to show the tool-tips.
