Hi chaps, i think your XYplorer program is the business, thanks.
I wanted to make XYplorer the default program for Viewing files etc., wanting to make full use of it, I found the answer in the FAQ thread and followed the instructions to the letter, copy and paste the text into a blank notepad file, i didnt need to edit it as i didnt have a 64bit Win 7 and it had installed in the default location. Saved with the correct file name and extension and executed it etc.
I did all that, and rebooted, but it still doesnt appear to work, i quickly tested it by putting a memory stick in a USB socket and selected the option down the bottom, to View files in Windows Explorer, but it opened up Windows Explorer and NOT XYplorer like i was hoping it to, what have i done wrong please ?.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell]
@="XYplorer"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\XYplorer]
@="Open in XYplorer"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\XYplorer\command]
@="\"C:\\Program Files\\XYplorer\\XYplorer.exe\" %1"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
@="XYplorer"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\XYplorer]
@="Open in XYplorer"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\XYplorer\command]
@="\"C:\\Program Files\\XYplorer\\XYplorer.exe\" %1"

Hi,
On x64 the correct app path might be this:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\XYplorer\\XYplorer.exe
BTW, the next version has a simple checkbox for this stuff.
