Multiple logins on network locations

Post by carmenm »

Hi,

i have a problem with accessing my shares on another computer. I have multiple share logins: One guest account and one pwd account.
The problem is that from XY i can access that network location as guest but i dont see how to change my login to access it with the login/pwd account.

Any idea?

THanks

Isn't this an common windowsTM issue? : "You can't access (from the same pc) one server with to accounts at the same time."

So first logout your guest and then login with pwd.

To logout such problematic connections i always use the 'Net use' command to disconnect.
I think you can create an batch or script to disconnect from just with an press of an button.

Hm, I'm outsourcing this stuff to Windows; I have no direct control over it. No better ideas for the moment.
